What a lovely first week together! Plenty of sunshine too, we were very lucky! 🙂
Primary 3CN have spent lots of time getting to know each other this week. As we will be spending the next year together, it’s important to become great friends! And to have people to talk to, work with, and play with! We will be working on this all year and have been talking about all the kind things we can do for each other.
Miss Carnegie has been settling in at Crown too and is feeling very happy with her new class already – it’s going to be a good year!
Just checking if anyone from P3CN is still waiting for a class photo that they paid for? There is one class photo with a frame – but no name!!! Handed out all of the others so if you have paid and are waiting on this photo could you please get in touch?
Next Monday (26th June), P3 are off to Kincraig Wildlife park for our summer trip. Letters went out last week and are to be handed in along with £6 to cover the cost of entry.
Please hand in letters/money as soon as possible in order for us to arrange the trip. Any problems please feel free to email me on firstname.lastname@example.org or Mrs Cameron on email@example.com.
We have our Moving Up afternoon on Wednesday when your child will meet their new classmates and their new teachers- very exciting.
We are delighted that Miss Rennie has another year with us as Acting Depute Head and we welcome back Miss Dunbar.
Sadly at this time of year we always have to say goodbye and good luck to others as they move onto new adventures. This year we say goodbye to Mrs Shields, Miss Carnegie, Ms Haines and our ASN teachers Miss Shaw and Mrs MacPhee. It’s only fair that other schools get to share in our lovely members of staff too!
Your child will be bringing home a paper plate this week requesting baking donations for Saturday’s fete.
Please make your favourite cakes, biscuits, tablet and tray bakes and bring them in to school on Friday (or to the baking stall on Saturday). We know we have some amazing bakers out there and all donations are much appreciated as this is one of our most popular stalls!
Please also keep your other donations coming: bottles, filled jam jars, tombola prizes, toys for older children, books, DVDs, computer games etc. We have stalls to fill!
We recently went on a trip to Inverness Castle, on the most beautiful day of the year so far! The weather was fantastic for our walk there and back. We were lucky to have spectacular views of Inverness from the viewpoint at the top of the castle – it was a big scary being so high up!
Thanks again to our volunteers, your help meant we could go on this trip.
